Pro'skit Telephone Line Tester NT-6006

Use:

Step 1: Test line 1 by setting the line switch to the "1" position. The line switch in position "1" checks the internal wire pair. The line switch in position "2" tests the pair of external burners.

Step 2: Connect the NT-6006 plug to the LINE end of the "Digital Phone Line Tester" to the NT-6006 phone line jack you want to test.

Step 3: Press the "TEST" button. The red light indicates a digital line. DO NOT USE THE LINE. The green light indicates a secure analog line. Yellow light indicates a safe analog line with reversed polarity. The telephone line is secure but reverse polarity can slow down the data transmission speed. The absence of light indicates no signal on the telephone line. Set the line switch to the "2" position and repeat the previous steps.

Step 4: To use the surge suppression circuit, leave the "Digital Phone Line Tester" plugged into the telephone line jack as described in Step 2 and connect the NT-6006 plug from your computer modem to the NT-6006 jack on the end MODEM of "Digital Telephone Line Tester".
